Add-ons (extras that sell)

Add-ons are option groups like drinks or extras. Attach a group to a category and every product in it offers the add-on — on the storefront and at the counter.

1. Open Add-ons

   Sidebar → Catalog → Add-ons.

2. Create a group

   New group: give it a name — “Cold drinks”, “Extras” — and add options with their extra prices in rupees.

3. Set the rules

   Choose “pick one” or “pick any”, set minimum and maximum picks, and mark a default option if you like.

4. Attach it to a category

   Pick the category — every product in it now offers this add-on group.

5. Check attachments

   Each group shows where it's attached, like “On: Cold drinks (required)”. Delete with a confirmation.

Common problems

My add-on isn't showing on a product

Groups attach to categories, not single products. Check which category the product is in, and which category the group is attached to — they have to match.
