Sidebar → Categories shows the subcategories your store can sell in. Orkiya's team manages the tree, so the page is read-only — but you can ask for anything that's missing.
- See your vertical
Sidebar → Catalog → Categories. You'll see your vertical's subcategories with their paths — category pickers across the portal offer exactly these.
- Spot hidden ones
A grey “hidden” badge means the category is switched off for now — it can't be picked until the team enables it.
- Request something new
Sidebar → Requests → Categories → Create request. Give a name and a short description of what belongs in it. Collections, Tags and Types work the same way.
- Track your requests
Each request shows its status: pending, accepted or rejected. Accepted items appear in your pickers.
Common problems
What are Product Types and Product Tags in Settings?
They organise the products you already have — Settings → Product Types and Product Tags let you view and edit the types and tags on your own products. New standard types and tags go through Requests.
