Counter POS: ring up a sale

Sidebar → “Ring up a sale” is your counter till. Walk-in sales, table scan-and-order approvals, and the cash drawer all live here.

1. Open the till

   Sidebar → “Ring up a sale” (under Selling).

2. Add products

   Search by name and set quantities. Add-on options — size, extras — appear on each line as you go.

3. Add a customer (optional)

   Picking an identified customer means the sale earns them loyalty points.

4. Choose pickup or local delivery

   Then tap Create order — the sale is done and the stock is updated.

5. Approve self-checkout

   Customers who scan and order at their table appear in the queue on this page — approve or reject each one.

6. Open the till

   Start a shift with an opening float — the cash you put in the drawer.

7. Close and reconcile

   At shift end, count the drawer and close the shift. A count that doesn't match asks for a reason.
